It’s summer! Which, as parents, often means more time with our kids, meals on the go between adventures, and maybe a vacation or two.
And yet, I hear from so many moms (and dads) that vacation can be hard because it’s really just watching kids in another place. Add to that the challenge of feeding everyone in an unfamiliar kitchen and you could spend the whole time dealing with food…much like at home!
But that’s not REALLY how you want to spend your vacation, is it? Me either!
That’s why in today’s episode I’m talking about easy vacation meals to cook for a crowd. Whether your crowd is 4 or 24, I’m going to share my best tips for making vacation food easier including:
- My vacation food philosophy and how you can develop your own
- Some things that DON’T work when it comes to vacation food (along with stories of my own flops)
- How to simplify vacation meals and stop spending all your time in the kitchen
After all, you deserve to have a great vacation too and simplifying food will give you more time to enjoy your kids, your family, and your destination.
(Longer post with recipe links and more to come. But my site host was down and I’m very much in the something > nothing camp)
